Got the Bolt Racer as a birthday gift for my 9-year-old nephew because he likes cars, building sets and anything mechanical. Initially I thought he would just ask an adult to assemble everything for him, but surprisingly he wanted to understand the process himself. He spent a good amount of time putting the pieces together and only needed help at a few places. Once the car was complete, he immediately started racing it around the house. Much better gifting option than another ready-made toy because there is an activity first and then a toy to play with afterwards
Nice combination of building and playing. My son usually asks for mobile after school, but he spent the evening putting this together and testing the car instead
Car itself was nice. Took us as adults a long time to assemble 3 hours. Instruction booklet is there but doesn’t show visuals of Ben though it’s numbered. They should make a video link and keep also for referance. Assembly is not for kids less than 9 years. Will be difficult.
The car itself works beautifully. Very ingenious design and working.
Spare parts and spare side mdf of the remote is made but what is actually needed is the spare of the front of the car and back as that bangs into walls and all. Hope the developer takes note of these suggestions. Overall a lovely product. .

Build it in 1.5hrs, there were few problems, spring of double AA battery case was missing, had to DIY solve it with an aluminium foil. All the four button was not able to fit because of the holes being too small as well as there was misalignment issue. Everything else was fine irrespective of above issues.
